FRIENDS SETTLE IT.

When the bet ends, participants vote the outcome: YES, NO, or VOID. There's no oracle, no admin override — just the people in the bet. Majority wins. Winners split the losing side's stakes proportionally, then claim their payout from the smart contract.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A TIE?
If the vote splits evenly (no majority), the bet resolves as VOID and all stakes are refunded to participants. The VOID mechanism is a safety valve for ambiguous outcomes.

01Is okbet free?
Free to create, join, vote, and void. When a bet settles, okbet takes 3% of the winners' profit, capped at 1.5% of the pool — taken from winnings only, never on voided or refunded bets.
02Is okbet a sportsbook?
No. okbet is a private group challenge tool. There's no house, no odds, no public market. You create a bet, share it with friends, and they settle the outcome.
03What chain does okbet use?
Base mainnet (an Ethereum L2 by Coinbase). Bets settle in real USDC.
04How do payouts work?
Winners split the losing side's stakes proportionally, then claim their payout from the smart contract — okbet never touches the funds. Payouts are pull-based: each winner withdraws their own share.
05Do I need an account?
No crypto wallet needed. Sign in with your email or phone and okbet creates a secure wallet for you. Already have a wallet? You can connect your own.
06How do I get USDC to bet?
Bets settle in USDC on Base, but you can fund from almost anywhere. In-app you can buy with a card, or convert crypto you already hold on major chains — Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana, and more — into USDC on Base in a tap. Already hold USDC on Base? Send it straight in.
07Can strangers join my bet?
No. Bets are private links. Only people you share the link with can join. There's no public directory.
08What if we can't agree on the outcome?
If the group votes VOID, all stakes are refunded. The VOID mechanism is a safety valve for ambiguous outcomes.
09Is okbet available in my country?
okbet is available to the public in regions where peer-to-peer social bets are permitted, and blocked where they're restricted. We check your region; if okbet isn't available where you are yet, you can join the waitlist.
